This is beautiful complete Victorian era cast bronze door knob and lock set that has an Art Nouveau design. Numbers on the backside of the larger faceplate indicate that this set was manufactured in 1895. 2 ornate cast bronze knobs, 2 ornate cast bronze faceplates a smaller one for the inside, and a larger one for the outside a Reading Hardware Co. Mortise lock, cylinder lock and turnkey. The larger faceplate has a length of 13.5 inches. The backside of both faceplates is marked Belfort. RH Co for the Reading Hardware Company. The ornate designs on all of the parts are matching. A key is not included but can be readily obtained from your local locksmith.
