Comprising of a 2-tine fork; sugar tongs with stylized lion paws at the ends; and a shovel form server and spoon both with finely pierced bowls. The set features an intricate pattern of thistle flowers and foliage, further embellished with finely engraved accents and gold vermeil finish. Each piece is hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which guaranteed the finest quality French sterling silver of. 950/1000 purity in use from 1838 95% pure silver and higher grade than the standard. The set is in overall good condition with general wear commensurate with use. Dimensions: Fork measures 5 ¼ length; the shovel form server is 6; round server spoon is 5 5/8 and sugar tongs are 4 ¾ length.
