This is a beautiful antique set in amazing condition for its age. Ears the white ware mark of the MAVALEIX factory ca. Mark of the BORGFELDT LIMOGES FRANCE factory. The set is decorated. With hand painted yellow roses and is signed by one. Most respected and collected Limoges artists. The handles and the edges are gilded. The pot is 9 1/4″ high with lid and 7 1/2″ wide from spout to handle. The six cups are 3 1/2 high. The saucers are 4 3/4 in diameter. The condition of this set is excellent with no chips, cracks. Repairing nor crazing and minimum wear to the gold. A difficult to find complete set for six signed by a listed Limoges. (Copy of reference will be added upon request).
