In excellent condition, in what seems to be its original leather case, a stylish Art Nouveau / Jugendstil necklace and matching earrings. The necklace is in 15ct gold (marked on the barrel clasp) and the earrings are 9ct gold (marked). The earrings have pearl set flower heads , then pendular drops to a suspended faceted amethyst. The necklace is a matching design with three aligned amethysts. The two basal amethysts suspended by an angular drop. The case is marked for E. He took employment at the jewellers there around 1880 and in 1914 on the death of his employer took over the business. The pendant dates around 1910. Weight earrings 2.04 gms, necklace 3.77 gms.
