This is a rare and fantastic beautiful German (I believe) Art Nouveau / Arts & Crafts hand made & Hammered, Dovetailed Coffee set from around 1895 -1900. This Wonderful Estate Fresh set is bi-color in banded copper and brass with pewter finish on the inside. The Set is complete, including the tray, the Coffee Pot, Sugar Bowl or Pot incl. Cover, milk jug or Creamer. All in fantastic Good original finish and condition with just little normal marks of use. It can easily still be used. The design is really fascinating. There are no ID marks of any kind, though one might think they came from Kallmeyer & Harjes. Just a wonderful rare hand hammered and made coffee set. The hand made DOVETAILED copper seams are visible on each piece. Without polishing it up and losing that great original patina, there are shadows on the tray where the rest of the tray oxidized while the parts covered did not. No biggie, either leave them on their spots or just lightly shine the tray. I love the old original patina, but many would like it shinned up which would be stunning. I will leave that choice to the next owner. Hard stuff to find!
