Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this lovely set of ten original Victorian hand carved English oak dining chairs with berger bases. A very good looking and well made suite of dining chairs, its rare to come across a set of ten, they are medium sized so will accommodate themselves around most tables with ease. The frames are hand carved English oak, if you look under the seat rails you can see the hand carving lines. The seat pads are berger or rattan, around four of them need some attention as the seating as become slack, there doesnt seem to be breakages, it just looks slack like its lost tension. Otherwise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the pair from top to bottom, the frames have all been checked and glued and clamped where required. Height:- 91cm, seat height 45cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
