The handles are magnificently decorated with Art Nouveau foliage, flower buds of peony blossoms and stylized acanthus. The floral motif is reiterated on the service ends of the forks and spoons. In good condition with general wear/surface scratches. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which guaranteed the finest quality French sterling silver of. 950/1000 purity in use from 1838 95% pure silver and a higher grade than the standard. Spoons are 7 1/2 length. Forks are 7 7/16 length. Total silver weight of 1202.5 grams. The set is complete and housed within fitted presentation box. Presentation box showing its age.
