Century Burr Yew wood and Elm Windsor armchairs. I have another pair of these listed under my other items slightly smaller. A highly coveted, well made and decorative pair of armchairs, they are in the best timber materials to find them in, Burr Yew wood for the body of the chair and Elm for the seat pad base. These are early period pieces, nearly 200 years old, you can see they are totally hand made with a hand sawn bases. These chairs always have size variations due to repairs and water damage on the feet. Early Victorian wood furniture is almost always cut down over the centurys as Victorian homes had allot of liquid on the floors. These have been lightly cleaned waxed and polished, the frames have been checked and secured, they are in lovely condition throughout. Width:- 57.5cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
