The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company opened in 1891 in Bridgeport, CT, and crafted some of the most collectible fine art metal pieces made during the Arts and Crafts period. Their creations were not mass produced – production relied in the expertise of their artists and metal smiths. This piece features distinctive interlocking pattern throughout the piece, with a distinctive pair of figural heads on the face of the matchbox holder. The piece weighs around 3lbs 10 oz.
