BEAUTIFUL RARE 6 PLACE SETTING OF 12 ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLE & SOLID STERLING SILVER COLLAR KNIVES & FORKS – ART NOUVEAU PATTERN – HIGH QUALITY – ISAAC ELLIS & SONS – EARLY EDWARDIAN ERA – HALLMARKED SHEFFIELD 1903 GOOD CONDITION – GREAT GIFT! On offer is this really beautiful, rare antique 6 place setting of 12 mother of pearl handle and solid sterling silver collar/ferrule knives and forks, crafted in a lovely Art Nouveau style with fabulous decoration to the silver collars and blades – please see the photos. They were crafted by Isaac Ellis & Sons in the early Edwardian era, hallmarked Sheffield 1903. The blades of the knives and the tines/head of the forks are silver plate. Unusually, they are by the same maker – this is a very high quality set. The knives are just under 21cm in length, the forks are 17cm. This outstanding antique set is in very good condition and ready for use. Any dark marks, etc are either reflections or bits of age-related patina. And, as a welcome distraction in these troubled days, why not start your own collection of antique silver?
