Up for sale is a beautiful Art Nouveau tea set made by Noritake. Mark on the bottom dates these pieces to 1924 – 1939. This rare pattern was never given a name – it is known as N 2669. Features a gold grape vine pattern on a black background. The teapot measures 10″ from spout to handle, the covered sugar bowl is 7 1/2″ from handle to handle, the creamer measures 6 from handle to spout. There is a striped design on the base and top of each piece. All five pieces (including two lids) are in excellent condition with no damage or wear – even to the gold.
