It is very lucky to find these most beautiful antique dinner or luncheon plates, especially a set of 8 — nearly impossible. They are made by Minton, in the plum or sakura flower pattern. The plates are meticulously well crafted – each flower is gilt and raised in relief in meticulous details. Beautiful blue ribbon going trough the raised flowers. Scalloped rim, 9 inches wide, Special order made for D. DB Bedell & Co. The marks on the back indicated year of make between1902 and 1912. Other numeric marks included y7412n. Also there is small red number 12 on each plate. Plates are 9 inches across. The condition for the set is great. I observed no chips, no gilt loss. Only one plate has fine glaze crazing as I have shown on the picture. All in mint condition, rarely used, mostly displayed. Price is for the entire set of 8. I have never seen a beautiful pattern like this, their past glory can only be found on the antique market. The item “Set 8 Enamel Gilt Flower Minton Dinner Luncheon Plates for D. B.
