This listing is for a lovely set of eight (8) vintage clear glass cordials with a tall dark green stem and base and decorated with assorted hand painted Art Nouveau influenced designs. The goblets are hand painted with various colorfully painted and are embellished with gold accents. This group of goblets varies in shape as well as design. The goblets were made by Meyr’s Neffe in the early 1900’s. In 1922 the Meyr’s Neffe firm merged with Moser. These unique goblets were made in several sizes and unique designs and all are hard to find. Measure approximately 5 3/4″ high with a top diameter that varies from 1 1/2″ to 1 3/4″ with a base diameter of 2″. Each cordial weighs approximately 1.7 ounces. All goblets are in excellent Estate condition with rich coloration and crisp designs. One goblet has a very tiny (almost unfelt) nick on the rim that is hard to spot. There may be a few faint signs of wear to the gilding or painted designs but we saw nothing else to mention and they appear to have been seldom, if ever, used.
