Approximately 8-1/4″ tall, measuring from the trunk down and 8-3/4″ long. Crafted from fine Lenox china, this elephant is very detailed with many bright colors, 24k gold, and enameled “jewels”. This elephant was Made in the USA, circa 1995, and has not been re-issued as has the other large Elephant. There is a difference in the quality of the china itself and especially the application of the enamel “jewels” with the USA pieces compared to the imported ones.
