The stone has been cut en cabochon so that it appears as the cats eye reflecting light in a single band. This was another of my Mothers daytime rings, & like most of her rings, each gemstone had important personal meaning to her. Like many of her daytime rings, she had it made to wear it on her pinky finger. To picture this ring on your finger, the cats eye stone has a kind of greenish ever changing mood & translucency to it.
