Marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the on glaze orb mark, a gold painter’s mark, a year cypher for 1914 and the usual impressed marks of the period. Size: Cup – 4.8 cm high/5.3 cm diameter without handle. Saucer – 10.1 cm diameter. Condition: Excellent, with minimal gold wear. This is an exceptionally fine, and rare KPM Berlin Art Nouveau cup and saucer set, circa 1914. The set features a classic Art Nouveau design with elegant flowing lines, swirls, and Intricate gold leaves with highlighted raised gold accents. The pattern is further enriched by red enameled beading, beautifully representing berries. The cup’s distinctive handle showcases a unique split ribbon design.
