Art Nouveau Bohemian Fritz Heckert Persian Enamel Etched Tankard Water Set. Antique Art Nouveau Bohemian Fritz Heckert Persian Influenced Hand Painted Enamel & Etched Tankard Pitcher Water Set. The Set includes the tall Tankard and Three Water Goblets. The Tankard measures 14 1/2″ tall with the base measuring about 6″ wide. It has a ground and polished pontil and is signed in the center of the pontil in gold with’223′ over’910′. It is in Excellent Condition with no chips or cracks. Gold is 99.9% intact. The Water Goblets measure 6 1/2″ tall and 2 3/8″ in diameter. The Three Water Goblets are in Excellent Condition. I have shown an additional two Goblets in the photos. They have chips on the base. They display fine and I will include them in the package if the new owner would like them. No marks or stickers on any of the pieces, however, they have been attributed to the Fritz Heckert Company. In regards to the Fritz Heckert Company… Fritz Heckert company started as a glass refining house for mirrors and chandelier parts, in. Later they transitioned into a high-quality glass finishing house. Heckert enameled / finishing glass blanks, which were produced by Josephinehutte and the Harrach Glassworks. Later they converted to Jungendstil Glass, as styles changed. Jugendstil Glass was made mainly in the last quarter of the 19th century in Austria-Hungary and Germany.
