Hello and thank you for looking. A gorgeous vintage French curtain dating c 1950’s. Wonderful curtain with pleated top. This wonderful textile is French and dates c 1950’s. These came from a large Parisian flat. This curtain is backed, however the backing has damage. The backing has some holes, tears and staining so the backing should be considered only suitable for replacing. This panel is a linen and cotton mix, with pleated top so ready to hang! I would recommend dry cleaning before use as they are in as found, not washed condition with storage dust and have been stored for many years so are a bit musty. Nothing that a dry cleaning couldn’t fix! Uncleaned condition taken into account in the price. If one wanted to matching wash on hand wash cycle, that would be fine too, however the backing may not survive the washing The front fabric is very sturdy , with some condition issues (please see below) Wonderful for hanging or lovely too for deconstruction and use for upholstery projects etc! This lovely curtain measures approximately : 113 inches long by 65 inches wide at the bottom. They are 29 inches wide at the pleated top if you require multiple curtains, you can simply change the quantity button above. CONDITION : This curtain is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust and a slightly musty smell so it must be cleaned (please see above). The backing will need to be replaced as there are tears, some holes and staining. There are some pale storage marks on this curtain that I’m sure won’t fully wash. There are some small damaged spots along the side which would have been most exposed to the window sun. This curtain is generally in good condition , however it is not without the signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful textiles.
