800 solid silver & vermeil 4pc hors d’oeuvre serving set with ornate Art Nouveau style decoration and floral engravings, made by Edmond Molle, active from 1898. Of a flat server, spoon, 2-pronged fork and serving tongs. Complete set, all matching and housed within the original presentation box. Overall in good condition. A bit of tarnish visible, some slight signs of vermeil wear to the flat server and the spoon. No dents, bends, breaks or repairs to note. All pieces bear the post 1838 French Minerva 2nd standard hallmark for. Maker’s marks are for Edmond Molle, who was active from 1898 to 1919 at 114 rue du Temple in Paris. Flat server is 5 or 12,6 cm long. Spoon is 4 3/4 or 12 cm long. Fork is 4 3/4 or 12,1 cm long. Tongs are 4 1/4′ or 10,9 cm long. Silver weight: 59,2gr. The box is in good shape, but it doesn’t close completely so there is a little gap along the front when closed.
