ANTIQUE RARE ART NOUVEAU SET OF TWO DOUBLE ARM BRASS BRIDGE LAMPS FLOOR & TABLE. I have two rare double bridge arm antique art nouveau or art deco brass lamps for sale. Both are made of brass. Both exhibit looping curved decorative arms which at the ends have tulip shaped milk glass sconces or shades with hand-painted Mountain daisy flowers. The glass shades have a ruffled rim with a darker charcoal or dark brown colored accent on the rim edges. The floor lamp has a floor switch you can step on to turn it on and off. The taller lamp is a floor lamp which is 58 in tall and 24 in wide with a 9 and 3/4 in brass weighted base. The smaller lamp is a table top version which is 25 and 1/4 in tall and is 23 in wide with a 7-in weighted base. Both are previously owned and will show that they have been previously handled. Overall I would say the condition of these is near mint but obviously not brand new so will show an occasional slight scratch scuff things of that nature. I see nothing that stands out to me. I do not see any unsightly dense in the bases this stem shafts or the decorative curled bridge arms. I tried to do some research on these I could not find anything like them. A double bridge arm lamp I do know is fairly rare. I believe these were made most likely in the mid-40s to mid 50s. Many times you can tell the age of a lamp by its cord and switches. Both bases have felt on the bottom which is gray. I have not been able to find any kind of manufacturers mark on them. I peeled back the felt on the smaller lamp just enough to see inside and did not see any identifying marks. The taller floor lamp measures 58 and 1/2 in tall and 24 in width from outside of the glass shade to the outside of the opposite glass shade. The taller floor lamp base has a diameter of 9 and 3/4 in and has a design which is slightly different than the design on the base of the smaller lamp. The taller floor lamp has a floor switch which you can use your foot to turn the lamp on and off with. The smaller table lamp measures 25 and 1/4 in tall with a 23 inch width from outside of glass shade to outside of glass shade. The base on this one is 7 in in diameter. The glass shades are made of milk glass with hand-painted Mountain daisies of different colors accented with a ruffled Edge rim with a nice Edge detail which is either charcoal or dark brown in color.
