An exquisite silverplated liqueur set composed of eight (8) tumblers on their matching tray, produced by Christofle/Gallia, in a limited edition. Each tumbler measures 2 5/8 inches high and 1 ½ inches in diameter with a six-sided fluted design and two small drop pearls banding on the top and bottom. The rare piece is the matching serving tray which measures. 14 ½ inches by 8 5/8 inches and the number of tumblers. All pieces are stamped with the Gallia hallmark, some of them a bit faded and all are in very good condition – having been kept in a display case – with very light traces of wear and no loss of silvering. It is a set very rarely found complete, in such good condition and is very reminiscent of the period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco in the late 1920’s. Please read before purchasing.
