Johann Haviland 1913-1915 Antique China Set, Very RARE Art Nouveau/Deco
This antique Johann Haviland china set is a truly beautiful and interesting addition for any collector. With 86 pieces, this set includes serving trays, dinner plates, bowls, cups, and varied pieces see list below. The floral-geometric pattern is rounded-edge rectangular in shape (except the bowls and plates) and features a glossy finish on the ivory bone china material and handpainted gold accents. The teacups have a geometric shape to them with a circular top. It is an original production and has a printed backstamp. It was produced using its era’s bone china technique. I cannot find any matches or pieces that even closely resemble this set anywhere on the internet with very much research, so as far as I have concluded, it is thus very rare. It has a very unique, interesting, beautiful art deco-nouveau time period pattern. There are 2 pieces with cracks as pictured. One teacup is fully broken in half and glued together. There are some pieces missing. According to my research, it’s a really rare find. The design on it is attractive and beautiful as well as historically interesting, art period-wise and its own history, wise. I’d love to sell it to someone who would appreciate these aspects. 1 Large Rectangular Serving Tray. 1 Medium Rectangular Serving Tray. 1 Large Rectangular Serving Bowl With Lid And Handles. 1 Large Rectangular Serving Bowl. 1 Gravy Server With Attached Plate. 12 Dinner Plates (One With Crack In Center). 2 Small Plates (With Gold Circle). 12 Teacups (One Broken Fully In Half And Glued Back Together). 12 Small Dessert Bowls. 1 Sugar Bowl With Lid And Handles (Crack In Bottom). Feel free to ask any questions and check out my other items for sale!
