Antique Art Nouveau F&B Sterling Silver Brush, Comb & Mirror 3 Piece Vanity Set. This 3 Piece Antique Art Nouveau F&B Sterling Silver Vanity Set contains 1 Hair Brush, 1 Comb & 1 Hand Mirror. This antique lot is from the Foster & Bailey company or possible Theodore W. Foster & Bros which is the same company after a name change and used the same F&B hallmark. The lot is in good condition with light wear and marks from use and age. Please note that the items in this lot have not been polished and have developed a natural patina from use and age. Please also note that the hair brush and hand mirror rattle when handled. We are not sure if this is by design or what but there appears to be no damage to the items which would be cause the items to rattle. The hair brush has a crack in the sterling silver housing. The white hair brush backing is also cracked. The hair brush bristles are in pretty good shape. The hand mirror has a few marks on the actual mirror but no cracks. The comb is straight and has all teeth intact. The comb is marked F&B Sterling. This marking is slightly worn but still legible. The hair brush is marked F&B Sterling Pat’d 2981. The mirror is marked F&B Sterling Pat’d 2978. This marking is slightly worn so that the F&B is hard to read. The comb is approximately 7 1/2 long. The hair brush is approximately 9 long.
