This is a gorgeous Art Nouveau turquoise ring made of solid 14k rose gold and set with an oval natural turquoise cabochon. The setting is very dynamic and quite modern. Is it a bolt of lightning or a wave? The ring is made of solid 14k rose gold with just the right amount of pink. It is not as coppery as contemporary rose gold. It has a warmth to it. Set at an angle, the natural turquoise has been shaped into an elongated oval cabochon. It has a beautiful shade that only time can create. There are darker areas natural to the stone, one of which is near the bezel setting, which might make it look like an area of loss. The cabochon is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The setting measures 1/2 north-south. The turquoise cabochon is 9mm by 6mm. The ring is in excellent condition. The band has light surface wear. Marked 585, likely made in Europe.
