Antique Tea Coffee Set on tray “ORIVIT”. Secessionist Art Nouveau Pattern 2389. Has the original (pre AG Mark) “ORIVIT” Back Mark. 1894 – 1898 during the Art Nouveau Secessionist Period. The design is typical of the period with stylised trees and foliage. This pewter has a darker’oxidised’ finish and is not. Intended to be highly polished. I have cleaned these parts with soapy water and given them a good rub to bring up a lightly burnished sheen to the pieces. There are some marks and small imperfections as expected from its age and material. As seen and photographed. Consists of a Tea Pot, Open Dish for sugar and small milk. Cream jug and the tray. All back marked “ORIVIT” 2389. The Tray measures 20″ (50cm) x 13 1/2″ (34cm). AS seen and Photographed.
