Presented is a handsome vintage sterling silver salad serving set made by Richard Dimes Company. The salad servers are done in an attractive pattern with raised bouquet of flowers accented with scrolls. The salad set has great weight. Of course these servers could be used individually as large serving pieces. The backs of the handles are engraved with a 25th anniversary inscription with an S in Gothic script at the center and the dates 1912 and 1937 on either side. This set was made in 1937, or perhaps a few years earlier. The salad servers are marked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Richard Dimes, Sterling, and the pattern number 205. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The salad serving spoon and fork are both 8 5/8 inches long. The combined weight is 184.2 grams or 6.5 ounces.
