Art Nouveau Silver Handled Cased Serving Set, Cheese Scoop, Pickle & Bread Fork + Butter Knife and preserve Spoon. 5 Pieces with hallmarked silver handles and EPNS Blades. Decorative handles with very Art Nouveau style pattern. Each piece is hallmarked to the handle with a lion passant, anchor and the letter “r” for 1916. Other side also impressed with a lion passant and an “r”. Each piece has the makers marks of “RSPCo” for the Raeno Silver Plate Co Ltd. All the blades are stamped EPNS so they are not solid silver but silver plated (just the handles are solid silver). It comes with its original case/box which is a little tatty to the outside and missing its catch. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: The utensils are in excellent order, there may be a little tarnish and there looks to be a small amount of wear to the end of the butter knife.
