A 1902 Solid Silver Mustard Pot with Blue Glass Liner and Matching Pair of 1896 Solid Silver Salts. All fully Hallmarked for Henry Matthews. With a matched solid silver mustard spoon, fully Hallmarked for George Unite Birmingham, England 1919. The mustard pot has Lovely acanthus leaf decoration to the handle, a good hinged lid, and stands on four legs with four pad feet. In excellent antique condition with a very minor wobble from one leg, only noticeable if pressed on one side. Two tiny pin head sized dings to the body and some very minor flea bite nibbles to the heavy glass liner. The salts again have the lovely acanthus leaf decoration to the curved handles, each salt straight on four good legs with shaped pad feet. In excellent antique condition. One salt stands straight, the other like the mustard has a very minor wobble. All in lovely order with perhaps a minor pin head ding to each of the bodies. Some wear to the hallmarks, more so to one than the other. All scroll monogrammed EW. Height at handle: 6.5cm (2.1/2). Length: 10.5cm (4.1/2). Width: 6cm (2.1/3). Height at the handle: 6.5cm (2.1/2). Handle to handle: 11cm (4.1/4). Total silver weight: 188.53g. I have given them a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don’t over clean or polish.
