Art Nouveau Worcester Porcelain Mocha Espresso Coffee Set for 4 English England
A mocha or espresso coffee set in the Art Nouveau style made by Worcester in the beginning of the 20th century. There are four cups and saucers, a pot with lid, a creamer and a sugar bowl. They are all decorated with a neat blue background (see pictures since it is hard to describe it) and some gold trim but my favorite part is the Art Nouveau style decoration to the top rims in gold with orange raised enamel dots. The set is in superb condition with some crazing to the white areas and a hairline to the handle of the pot. One cup might have a hairline but I think it’s a bit of stained crazing since it’s on the bottom going up a bit. A tiny bit of gold wear to the saucer wells and a scratch to the blue background of the creamer. All pieces including the lid are marked with the puce Worcester mark underneath as well as a pattern number in red of 2 over 678, what looks to be a gilders or artist mark of C. The Pot is 8 inches tall, 4 inches wide and 6.25 inches deep including the handle and spout. The cups are 2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. The saucers are 0.75 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. The creamer is 3.75 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter and the sugar is 2.25 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter.
