1900 Set (5) of Sterling Silver Tops Antique Art Nouveau Hat Pins & Austrian Hat Pin Stand. A set of five RARE art nouveau sterling silver hat pins and an Austrian hat pin stand. All the tops are silver and the straight pins are nickel. The largest pin measures approximately 13 and has a floral and acanthus design and is. A rounded cone shape. Sterling is printed on the end of the bulb. The smallest hat pin measures 8″ long and the top is 1″ wide. Sterling silver circular top with a woman’s face on it. The next hat pin is approx. 9″ long and the top is 3/4″ wide. With a rounded sterling silver top with a llama cast onto it. It is stamped Peru and has a silver mark on it. 9 1/4 and has a sterling silver star shaped top that is. 1/2 wide with flowers repousse onto it. It is silver and unmarked. 9 1/2″ and has a sterling silver top that is 1/2″ wide. Is an interesting shape and has two open ends. The hat pin stand is marked on the bottom. The stand is made out of porcelain and made in Austria and can hold up to thirteen hat pins. It is hand painted with floral designs. Most of the hat pins have visible makers mark/ sterling mark. The set of five hat pins and stands are in good condition. We have left them unpolished so the new owners can decide what they want to do. Please see all photos for complete description.
