Bistro dining chairs from Jacob and Joseph Kohn. Made from bentwood beech with pressed seats. Date from the early 1900s. All in good original vintage condition, with some signs of wear to the embossed seats. They retain the original finish, nicely patinated. Most are labeled and marked. Jacob Kohn together with his son Josef founded the enterprise in 1849. Kohn would later rise to become one of the leading furniture makers in Austria-Hungary, becoming a leading competitor of Gebrüder Thonet.
