This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver and enamel christening set consists of a napkin ring and a spoon. The surface of the napkin ring is encompassed with three embossed Art Nouveau style organic designs accented with multi-tonal enamel panels. The cast sterling silver spoon is embellished with the aforementioned design to the handle terminal with inverted enamel designs to the floral motifs. The reverse surface of the spoon is plain and the tapering stem features the full hallmarks in addition to the registration number “323”. This impressive christening set was crafted in a highly desirable style by the renowned and collectable silversmiths Liberty & Co Ltd. This antique silver and enamel christening set is an exceptional gauge of silver and exceptional quality for their type. The set is in exceptional presentation condition. The enamel is in perfect condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the spoon handle are all very clear. The hallmarks to the anterior surface of the napkin ring have wear in keeping with age and location.
