Presented is a wonderful set of 6 International sterling silver handle knives. These knives are made in the Frontenac pattern, which began production in 1903. This is a lovely floral pattern featuring naturalistic flowers and long sinuous leaves, done very much in the Art Nouveau style of the time to which the pattern dates. The blades of these knives are silver plated carbon steel, in the’Old Blunt’ shape, while the handles are sterling silver. The knives have a cartouche on either side of the handle, none of which has ever been monogrammed. This set of knives is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. One knife has a tiny ding near the cartouche, but nothing of any consequence. The blades are sharp and in good shape. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each piece is stamped sterling on the handle. Each knife measures about 9 inches long.
