Marked with the Meiji era silver standard mark Each piece with a matching period monogram The tab securing the connecting rod on the serving tongs is loose and needs a drop of solder to secure it in place The pin is retained in place but the tab should be affixed to the surface of the tong Otherwise the set is in excellent condition Each piece is marked, apparently produced for export, the serving tongs measure about 775″ long, the individual asparagus tongs measure about 3 7/8″ long These are very similar to some of Arthur Bond’s production.
