Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely set of four Sterling Silver handled vanity tools with elaborate Art Nouveau decorated handles, c. Tools include a shoe horn, button hook, nail file and nail buffer. The set has matching handles with each piece marked with a fancy monogram that be believe is a “J”. Three of the four pieces are marked with the R. The largest piece (the shoe horn) measures 8 3/4″ long with the widest part of handle measuring 1″ wide. The nail buffer measures 4″ long and 1 3/8″ wide. Combined weight is 7.4 ounces. This nice set is in very good Estate condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear. The handles have some minor dents on the rounded ends and the nail buffer has a dent on the top of the handle. Overall the wear is commensurate with age and normal use. There is wear to the cover of the nail file which appears to be original to the item. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
