RARE Victorian Shoe Clips Huge Emerald Green Rhinestones Vine Metalwork. These stunning shoe clips are of the highest quality pieces I’ve ever seen in shoe clip category. Not the average shoe clips. They are true works of art with utmost detail and quality handwork. The stunning faceted very large rhinestones are all prong set and brilliant and clear rich in color as they day they were made. Beautiful metal work depicting leaves & vines. Perhaps they were modelled after a cluster of grapes. This pair is quite large. These are substantial pieces. I can imagine only privileged in the bygone days would afford a pair like these. Silver metal backing/clips with Nouveau style detail. Each clip measures as follows: 2 3/8″ Height, 1 ¾” Width at widest point. Each prong set rhinestone is a whopping ½ in size. Images don’t do these pieces justice but I sure did try. They were taken in natural light but seeing them glisten and sparkle in person under light is another experience. Heavy solid pieces and in impeccable condition.
