This fine set of three vanity or clothing sterling backed brushes was made c. 1895 by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. They have a lovely repousse pattern of morning glories or poppies with vines leaves and a connected reeded border. They all bear the contemporary monogram WWM or alternately WMM. They all have natural bristle backed with celluloid both of which are in great condition. The sterling backs are a little loose and have are a few inobtrusive dents only along the edges.
